miso ginger dressing (super creamy!)

Jump to Recipe·Print Recipe

This is a deliciously creamy miso dressing. The pop of fresh lime and vinegar, the tangy yogurt, honey, fresh ginger, and funky miso combine into a jar of perfection.

We’re obsessed with this super creamy miso dressing. It’s bright, tart, a little sweet, and packed with salty miso flavor.  I use plenty of fresh grated ginger for a warm, spicy kick, but use as much or as little as you’d like.

The most surprising part of this dressing is the yogurt. It adds a deliciously creamy texture and a subtle, lactic tang that is so good.

A few more tips:

  • Use full-fat plain yogurt. Greek or traditional yogurts will both work. If the dressing is too thick, whisk in a teaspoon of water at a time until you reach the desired consistency.
  • Substitute sour cream in a pinch!
  • Swap a tablespoon of canola oil with toasted sesame oil to give the dressing a light sesame flavor.
  • Add a pinch of red chile flakes for heat.
  • This miso ginger dressing will keep, refrigerated, for up to 5 days.
