habanero salsa

  • ¼ onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • 2 habañeros, chopped
  • 2 tsp lime juice, plus more to taste
  • kosher salt
  • 1 28-ounce can whole peeled tomatoes, drained and roughly chopped
  • ½ bunch cilantro, chopped


  1. Place onions in a strainer and rinse under cold water, tossing around, for about a minute. Shake off excess water and transfer to a food processor or blender.
