This Mexican mule cocktail is extra gingery, crisp and refreshing. It's filled with notes of fresh lime and agave (from good blanco tequila).

  • 1/2-inch piece fresh ginger, sliced
  • 3/4 oz lime juice 
  • 1/4 oz simple syrup 
  • 2 oz blanco tequila
  • 4 oz ginger beer
  • fresh mint, for garnish


  1. Combine ginger, lime juice, and simple syrup in a copper mule mug, highball or Collins glass. Gently muddle ginger to release flavor.
  2. Add tequila and fill with crushed ice. Top with ginger beer and gently mix. Garnish with a big bunch of mint. Enjoy!
