Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 egg whites, room temperature
  • 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp fine salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • zest of 2 lemons (about 1 tbsp, packed), finely grated
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 225°F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Prep piping bag with a large star or circle tip, if using.
