chia bowl with yogurt, cherries and almonds

This creamy, tangy chia bowl is made with Greek yogurt, almond milk and maple syrup. Top with your favorite fresh fruit and granola. It’s the easiest make-ahead breakfast, and always a crowd pleaser!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups plain, full- fat greek yogurt
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/3 cup chia seeds 
  • 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and halved
  • 1/2 cup dried pears, chopped
  • 1/2 cup granola
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • honey, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together yogurt, almond milk, maple syrup, vanilla and salt. Add chia seeds and whisk until well blended. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours, or overnight.
  2. To serve, divide chia yogurt into 4 bowls. Top each bowl with 1/4 cup fresh cherries and 2 tablespoons each of dried pears, granola and slivered almonds. Drizzle with honey and enjoy.
